Fibroids are increasing in unmarried women
Uterine fibroids are a common women's condition, found in 20–30% of women of childbearing age and 40–50% of women over 35, but only 30–40% of them have noticeable symptoms.
For unmarried women and women of childbearing age, check-ups for fibroids
and adenomyosis are now a must!
We recommend MRI-integrated HIFU, which preserves the uterus, is safer than surgery
and keeps pregnancy and childbirth possible.

Why are fibroids increasing in young unmarried women in their 20s?
Statistics show that more young women in their 20s and 30s have uterine conditions such as fibroids, adenomyosis and endometriosis.
Rates are rising fast in women in their 20s and 30s. Many are not aware of uterine disease, skip regular check-ups, and dismiss severe period pain or back pain as ordinary PMS, missing the right time for treatment.
Major uterine conditions such as fibroids, adenomyosis and endometriosis often start as early as your 20s.
Most patients are in their 30s and 40s, but since that is their age at diagnosis, the fibroids very likely started growing in their 20s. This is because most benign tumors grow very slowly.

Your 20s are a good time to protect your uterus!
If a major condition such as fibroids is found in your 20s
you have a lifelong chance to keep your uterus healthy.
In the early stage, benign tumors such as fibroids are small and usually cause no pain or symptoms. Many women are only diagnosed with fibroids or adenomyosis when the tumor grows and symptoms finally bring them to a clinic. That is why it is a good idea to have regular check-ups and ultrasounds from your 20s.
Early treatment program for unmarried women in their 20s
Aegis Roen OB-GYN runs an early treatment program for fibroids and adenomyosis for unmarried women in their 20s.
Artificial Intelligence HIFU System
Specialized system for early treatment of uterine disease
High-resolution MRI images and real-time ultrasound images are combined into a 3D view that tracks the uterus and tumor as they move with the patient's breathing and body movement, so that high-intensity focused ultrasound energy treats them safely.
Artificial Intelligence Check up System
Specialized check-up system for early treatment of uterine disease
For accurate diagnosis of tumors in the uterus, and to follow every possible change during recovery after HIFU, we run a specialized uterine check-up program for ongoing follow-up.
· Complications such as bleeding, infection, and inflammation may occur after surgery or the procedure.
