Uterine fibroids are a common women's condition, found in 20–30% of women of childbearing age and 40–50% of women over 35,
but only
30–40% of them have noticeable symptoms.

Statistics show that more young women in their 20s and 30s have uterine conditions such as fibroids, adenomyosis
and endometriosis.
Rates are rising fast in women in their 20s and 30s. Many are not aware of uterine disease,
skip regular check-ups, and dismiss severe period pain or back pain
as ordinary PMS, missing the right time for treatment.
Most patients are in their 30s and 40s, but since that is their age at diagnosis,
the fibroids very likely started growing in their 20s.
This is because most benign tumors grow very slowly.
If a major condition such as fibroids is found in your 20s
you have a lifelong chance to keep your uterus healthy. In the early stage, benign tumors such as fibroids are small and usually cause no pain or symptoms.
Many women are only diagnosed with fibroids or adenomyosis when the tumor grows and symptoms finally bring them to a clinic.
That is why it is a good idea to have regular check-ups and ultrasounds from your 20s.

High-resolution MRI images and real-time ultrasound images
are combined into a 3D view that tracks
the uterus and tumor as they move with the patient's breathing
and body movement, so that high-intensity focused ultrasound energy
treats them safely.
For accurate diagnosis of tumors in the uterus, and to follow
every possible change during recovery after HIFU,
we run a specialized uterine check-up program
for ongoing follow-up.
