1. You lie face down during treatment. If the fibroid is large, the treatment takes a long time, you have an existing spine condition, or the tumor presses on the spine,
nerve damage is possible (leg numbness, ankle problems, perineal, bladder or bowel problems, complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS)).

2. Sedatives and painkillers are used, and some people may react to them. A very small number of patients may have heat damage to the skin or the tissue under it after treatment,
and in severe cases tissue death or skin infection.

3. Rarely, when a fibroid is close to the uterine lining, treated tissue may come out through the vagina. After treatment, the destroyed fibroid may become infected, the uterus may be perforated, or infection may spread to the treated area.


4. Many important organs, tissues and nerves lie around the uterus, so rarely they may be at risk (bowel perforation, bladder perforation, leg numbness and joint problems,
perineal, bladder or bowel problems, movement problems, abdominal wall hernia, etc.).

5. If the tumor is large, tumor lysis syndrome may occur while the destroyed tissue is being absorbed.

6. Very rarely, the tumor may turn out to be a uterine sarcoma.
